IUD Hell.

I had an IUD put in when I went in for my checkup after I had Jax. Well, since we moved two days after I never went back in to have it check out. A month ago I decided to set up an apt because I was having sharp pains.
Today I went in with the intentions of having it removed because I keep hearing thing about it implanting into your uterus, and I still want one more kid. I got up there on that table doing the one thing we all love doing (sarcasm) at an OBGYN apt and spread those legs.
And where was the string you ask? No where to be found! She then got the ultrasound out to try and find where it went. It had tucked itself up there in my cervix which means I now have to come back in a month and take a pill that will open up my cervix just so she can fish around for it.
Sounds like fun, right?
And if that doesn't work... Surgery!
As nice as it was to not have to take a pill, it sure sucks to have to go through all this just to remove it.

Wish me luck.

40 Weeks.

Hello Slobber!
This kid produces so much drool. Before I had Jax, drool and slobber grossed me out but now it doesn't even faze me. You would think some teeth would be popping through with the amount of drool that has been pouring out.

We officially have a walker. Last week he took some steps by himself but now he will just start walking around all by himself without me trying to make him do it.

He has also been doing so good playing by himself. He doesnt always need me right by his side. But of course he would rather someone be there. If he doesn't see me he is good but once I walk by he makes it a point to let me know I should be right there with him.

Poor little Jax is sick again. Bad cough that looks like it hurts. I just hate when my baby doesn't feel good.

This week my bestie and her little family were visiting from CO. This was my first time meeting Ember (I moved back the day she was born). Man oh man did she love Jax and he wasn't too sure about her at first. All the babies got to go to the beach and Jax got his first mouthful of sand, yum!

Fathers Day

Michael, if you ever read this I want you to know how blessed we are to have you in our lives. You are such an amazing dad and husband.
This week has really opened my eyes to how short life is and I want to spend every day with you enjoying every great thing about you.
My child is so special to me and it just warms my heart to see how special he is to you.
Thank you for being more then the man who created him. You are the true definition of "dad".
I can't wait to see you both grow together and teach him everything you know. Jax will look up to you and want to be just like you.
You really are his first HERO,
And you're my Prince Charming.

We love you so much!

And to my Dad. Thank you for being the best dad to us! You went above and beyond to make sure we always had everything we needed. You have shown me what a great dad and husband look like which has helped me find the man of my dreams. Thank you for always giving us a good laugh when your in a goofy mood. Thank you for teaching me not to drink out of the milk jug and spray whip cream into my mouth ;)
Thank you for everything!
I'm so glad Jax has you as his Papa.
We love you so much!

I put together some gifts for Mike and the two Grandpas.

38 & 39 Weeks (9 Months)

Jaxon started making the mini me sounds. He will look at me and go "eeeeeeeeee".
It seriously crack me up.
He also likes to move his mouth like he's chewing but he still can't eat chunks of food, only baby food.

This picture explains how EVERY diaper change goes. Poopy diapers require two people to change. Ugh!

Jaxon got his first piano for $5! Go eBay!
And man does this kid love it!

Jaxon took his first steps by himself this week! He kept falling but Michael kept working with him. Watch the video

Jax is starting to kiss me! After his nap I was holding him and with an open mouth he went in for a kiss, 3 times! Such a happy mama right here! Now I'll ask him for a kiss and pucker my lips and he will lean in and let me kiss him. Such a goof ball.
This week I had my first night away from him. Read about our anniversary trip

Jaxon learned how to make a clicking noise with his tongue. He likes to mimic us when we do it. He also loves to make noise by blowing out his nose.

Ahhhh! 3 more months and Jax will be a year! I have already started planning his birthday. Woohoo!
In month 9:
Runs while hold onto our hands
Took his first steps by himself
Weighs 15 lbs 15 oz and is 25 3/4 in long. (a couple weeks before he turned 9 mo)
In size 3 diapers
Wears 6m clothing
No teeth yet
Won't eat solid food, just baby food
Loves crawling/walking back and forth
Loves toys that rattle
Still wakes up once in the middle of the night ( between 12am-3am)
Takes two naps a day
Actually laughs now

Anniversary Getaway + First Night Away From Jax

Vacation is so different when your a parent, whether you bring the kids or not. We were excited to leave and excited to come back to our baby.
Jaxon stayed with my mom for the night we were gone (we had a one night anniversary vacation). He did great with her.

We stayed at La Costa Resort for our two year anniversary all thanks to my childhood friend, Anta. She got us into the spa area for free with free drinks! She was such a huge part to making this special for us.

We spent the whole time relaxing by the pool and in the Roman showers. I NEED a Roman shower!
This was the perfect way to spend our anniversary.
We did start missing Jax by the second day. Nothing we couldn't handle but I think if it was a lot longer then I would have wanted to go home to him. One night was perfect. We got our much needed sleep and got to relax but when alls said and done, I love coming back to that smiling face. He was SO exited to see me. He kept getting all gidy when I was holding him and he would come in close like he was giving me a hug. Man I love this kid.

Happy 2 Years To Us!

Wow. Two years already? I feel like I just got married.

We decided to take baby Jax to where we got married (Grand Tradition).
Last year we made sure to take a picture there while we were in town and I was pregnant. Now we have our son so I wanted to take one with him.
It was so much fun walking around remembering that day, and it makes me want to do it again!
I loved every minute of planning my wedding. Not sure how other people could hate it. I made most of my stuff and I would do it all over again if I could. Maybe a renewing of the vows in the future? Sounds good to me!

Anyways, mike and I have a special night planned tomorrow, away from the baby. Ahhhh! It's my first night away from him. Wish me luck! I'll post pictures of it later ;)
But I'm so excited! We need "us" time.
