Week 62, 63, 64 & 65

Week 62
Yep, Jax is still sick. Feels like it will never end. I did take him to the doctor to get him on meds. I'm really impressed at how well he takes any medication we have given him.

Man this kid throws huge fits. It really feels like I have a 2 year old.
Because he's been sick and teething, he hasn't wanted to stay in his bed. He will wake up anywhere from 12-3 and scream until he can get into bed with us. It's really hard for me because he will toss and turn which keeps me up. Mike had to start sleeping in a different room since he works early in the morning.

Jaxon now knows how to clap. This time he will clap with his hands.

Jaxon has now figured out how to climb up on the couch and that's all he wants to do. He will grab his milk and climb up just to sit there and drink.

Mike surprised Jax and I with a trip to Disneyland for the first time! What a great dad! We took Jaxon on pirates of the carribean for the first ride. I put him in the ergo carrier so he wouldn't want to climb around the boat. Mike had mentioned to the 20 something year olds behind us that he was sorry if he crus because this is his first ride. They didn't mind. As we went into the dark, right before the waterfall, Jaxon layed his head on my chest. Once we went down, the dumb girl behind me screamed as loud as she could which scared Jax and he was a little upset. He would have done fine if she didn't scream a high pitch scream.

Now it's a game to throw food to the dogs. It's even better to throw it on the dogs.

Week 63

After sleepless nights, Jax has finally slept through the night. It's probably because he has been on his meds and is getting over his cold.
Jaxon knows that the door handle opens the door. He has no idea how to do it but he will walk over and touch it and look at me because he wants to go out.

Jaxon and his cousin.

We have been trying to ween Jaxon out of our bed but every now and then he ends up back in it.

I tried to get rain boots for Jaxon but the kid would not walk in them. He would just lean over reaching out as far as he could and stay there.

Jaxon did NOT like Santa.

Jaxons new thing is to ride in the big part of the cart. He gets so excited when we put him in there. Another thing he has been doing is laying on his tummy all sprawled out, which he also did in the cart.

Week 64
Jaxon started getting sick again and we took him back to his doctor and put him on antiboitics.

Thanksgiving was a blast... Well until Jax started getting super grumpy since he wasn't able to take a nap. He didn't want to eat any if the food and just not a happy camper at dinner. We didn't stay long after that. We even missed the pie.

Jax went to Disneyland with his cousin for the first time. Both dads were at work so Megan and I had no help... And surprisingly it went really well. I would prefer mike being there so he could hold our important things and I hold Jaxon. It just makes it easier.

Jax was so tired when we got home that he fell asleep on the changing table.
Jax has started putting the sheets over his head and playing peekaboo (even though he doesn't say it). He also loves when I lift it up and he crawls under.

Jax got his 7th tooth this week; the bottom right if your looking at him.

Daddy let Jaxon take his bear into the shower with him. I was told he lost it when mike took it away, so he caved and let him bring it in.

Mommy and daddy went to Glamis for the first time with our really good friends. Jaxon got to stay with mikes parents and sister and of course he was a little angel for them.

Week 65

We showed Jaxon what shadow puppets are. He just layed there and watch them on the wall. At one point when we stopped, he tried to do it. This kid is getting so smart it scares me.

...And he's back in bed with us again. We even let him cry for about an hour and we went in there three different times to tell him he's ok but that still didn't help.

Jaxon gets a kick out of putting his toys on his head. He will even look at me to see what my reaction is and wants me to clap.

Jax climbed on the chair under the table and since the chair was pushed in, he got stuck and you could hear him banging his head on the table. You think he would have learned his lesson but no... He keeps on doing it.

Little Mr. Shy
I don't get what brought this one but he gets so shy when people talk to him.
