37 Weeks (Now its 2 weeks left!)

2 weeks...not 3 anymore. Since we couldn't flip him, I have a C-Section scheduled for my 39th week.
Hopefully he will turn all by himself before that, but I highly doubt it. And even if he does, they are still going to induce me so he doesn't have time to turn back around. No matter what, ill be holding my son in 2 weeks. I can't wait to meet him and show him off to everyone!

How far along? 37 Weeks
Weight gained this week: 2 ( Total 30 ) Im not sure if my scale is off, but my doctor has said I have only gained 25lbs.
Maternity clothes?  Still 50/50
Stretch Marks? Yes, but only on my hips. Lets hope it stays that way.
Sleep? Some nights are good but others are horrible. It doesnt help that I'm starting to get sick and have very bad head aches at night.
Miss Anything? Being able to get off my butt with no problem, bending over, decent size boobs, not feeling sick all of the time... and the list could keep going.
Movement? Yes but not like most babies. He is very gentle and every once in awhile ill get a big kick.
Food Cravings? Nothing extreme but I do still love chocolate milk and cereal.
Anything Making You Queasy or sick? Anything stinky.
Gender? Baby BOY.
Labor Signs? Braxton Hicks, and mine suck!
Symptoms? Very bad back pains and lower abdomen pains. They have me going to physical therapy for it.
Belly Button In Or Out? Still in. woohoo!
Wedding Ring On Or Off? Off :(
Happy Or Moody Most Of The Time? Mostly happy, but I am very emotional now.
Looking Forward To? Jaxon's arrival! 2 more weeks. C-Section scheduled for my
39th Week.

This Week: (thebump.com)
Yay! Baby has reached full term.
He likely measures around 18.9 to 20.9 inches and weighs about 6.2 to 9.2 pounds.
He's gaining about 1/2 ounce each day.
He's practicing some skills: inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping and blinking.
He's getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready for his first diaper.

Yes, This is the position he is currently in. :(

Even though it might be a month before I use them,
I still wanted to have all my cloth diapers ready.

Travel diaper wipe case I made. Im addicted and I want to make more!

I got bored while being on maternity leave... so I made a bracelet.
I have to get all my crafty ideas done now before I don't have any time at all.

C-Section?

Yesterday didn't go exactly how I would have liked it to go. I had the first of my weekly appointments where my doctor checked me to see how everything was going.
Jaxon finally put his feet down but he is still breeched. Since he wont budge.... we were going to try and move him to avoid a c-section. My doctor had me go over to the hospital at 4:30 were we were going to attempt to flip him. (We didn't end up leaving till 7)
Im not a fan of hospitals but I have been doing better each time I go. I was even starting to get better with IVs until this nurse screwed that up for me.
She must have been new because it hurt like hell! She put it in the side of my wrist which ill never do that again.
Before she could plug the IV cord into the thing in my wrist ( I don't know the technical words for what they used) I could feel my blood running down my hand.
I was on the verge of puking. After all that was done I was given a shot that helps relax my uterus. It makes you feel like you have had 8 cups of coffee.
I couldn't stop my hands from shaking.  Once all that was done, we were ready to try turning him. Let me just say, I have an amazing doctor.
I have heard that doing this is VERY painful. She was so gentle and used different techniques to get him to move while trying not to hurt me.
It still was very uncomfortable but it never brought tears to my eyes. ( The IV was the worst part of the whole thing.) Unfortunately we just couldn't get him to move. :( This means if he doesn't flip on his own in the next two weeks... Ill be having a c-section Sept 13.
I was so bummed out when I found this out. I wanted so badly to be able to hold my baby right after I had him... but now I have to wait till I'm out of recovery, and not to mention I'm so scared to be awake during it all.
The only reason I have been ok with my surgeries in the past was because I was asleep during all of them. I know that God will keep me safe but my nerves always get the best of me so ill be needing a lot of prayer that day.
Now that I know ill be having a c-section, there is a lot I need to do and change before that day, starting with my birth plan.
Oh joy.

Dont hospital gowns just make you look fabulous!?
At least the rooms were really nice.

What Will Jaxon Look Like?

Mommy Thinks....

Eye Color: Blue
I have blue eyes and Mike's are Blue but can change.
Hair Color: Blonde

We both have blonde hair.

We both have fair skin but I hope he gets Mike's skin tone since he gets the perfect tan.
Bald or Full Head of Hair: Bald or very little hair.
Hair Type: Wavy
I have wavy hair but I'm hoping he gets Mike's somewhat straight hair.
Who Will He Look Like: Mike

Cloth Diapers

Cloth Diapers!

After talking with a good friend of mine, I decided it would be a good idea to do cloth diapers.
Since babies can be expensive, this was one way we could help save a little bit of money.
Yes they are expensive at first but in the long run it ends up being way cheaper.
You do have to have the patiences to do it. It works best if you are a stay at home mom or there is someone there everyday or every other day to do the laundry.

My plan is to start off with deposable diapers while Jaxon is real little then go to cloth diapers.
Im not 100% sure yet but I think I might only do cloth diapers at home and normal diapers when I go places. So far I have 4 different brands that I'm going to try. All of them are the one size pocket diapers.
The last one seems to good to be true with the price, but I have a friend who swears by them so I was willing to give them a chance.

Here are my diapers.

Best Bottom Diapers
-This is the start to my collection. I need more shells which are the diapers.
In the picture their are 2 different sizes with the inserts. The green trim is a size small and the two below are small doublers (For night time so keep more pee in). The white trim is a size medium... ill be getting the doublers for them later.

Blueberry Diapers
- Each diaper comes with two inserts.
One is a small and the other can be a medium or large just by changing the snaps.

Charlie Banana Diapers
 - Each diaper comes with two size insert that you can double for heavy wetters.

Alva Diapers
-My friend told me about this brand and Im very curious to try these out.
I paid around $5 for each one! She said these are the ones that worked the best for her boys
and many of her friends.
The 4 lighter blues are from the B series and the dark blue on is from the C series.
The difference is the C series has 2 rows of snaps to keep more in.
They come with only one insert so I'm not sure if that will be enough of if I want to buy more just incase he is a heavy wetter.

I cant wait to try all these out and let you all know my favorite!

6 Reasons Why Cloth Diapers Are Better

How To Use.
Note: Its easier to just grab the top of the insert and shake of the
diaper into the pail instead of doing it right before you wash them.

These two videos made me feel better about doing cloth diapers.

36 Weeks. 4 Weeks Left!!

4 more weeks! I just cant believe I will have a baby in a month.
This time last year I was saying how I didn't want kids for awhile and God changed something
in me. I never thought I would be so excited to be a mom and I never knew you could love someone who you have never met so much!
Jaxon has been super active lately. It looks like I have an alien inside me.
Now that I'm on maternity leave I have been able to relax a little.
Its easier to get through this pain because I can just go lay down, which at work I couldn't.
Im still doing physical therapy once a week and I leave feeling so relaxed.
Tuesday I have my doctors appointment and Im hoping to find out if he is still breeched and when I might have this baby. I have this feeling he is going to be late :-x
Other then that, I have slowly been getting ready. Most of the stuff for him is done but I also have to pack because we will be moving out of our apartment the beginning of November. Moving
with a one month old should be lots of fun...

He's still in the 17.2- to 18.7-inch and 4.2- to 5.8-pound range and continues to beef up.

He's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on his own.

His skin is getting smooth and soft and his gums are rigid.

His liver and kidneys are in working order.

Circulation and immune systems are basically good to go, too.

35 Weeks

With all this pain, I cant wait to go on maternity leave!
Im really looking forward to it but I feel like this next week will go
by so slow because of it. My doctor has me going to a physical therapist once to twice
a week to see if that will help the pain. Its something I would recommend to
and pregnant lady who is hurting, especially with the big belly pulling on your back.
Besides that, I still cant believe that in 5 weeks ill be holding my little boy!
I feel like there is still so much I need and not much time.
I just bough more cloth diapers this week but I still need many more.
Ill be doing a post of those once he is a little older. I have 4 different
brands that I'm trying and I hope they all work perfectly because they are so cute!!

This Week: (thebump.com)
He's about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. From here on out, he won't get much longer,
but he's plumping up. He's now about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds,
and he'll put on a pound or more of baby fat before birth.
Now, his hearing is fully developed, and he responds best to high-pitched noises.
His testes have probably fully descended.
