46 Weeks.

Oh my little stinker baby. When he knows he has something he can't have, he will look at my and run the other way... Yes, run. That's something new this week. He isn't very go at it but its definitely a run.
Back to him being a stinker. When I tell him "no", he will stop and then he will go back to doing it again.
How many times have I said I have my hands full with this one? Oh yeah, a lot.
He got his first top tooth! So now he has one bottem and one top... Opposite of each other.

Jaxon loves his puppy, Lacy. He gets so excited when I let her in to play with him. We will chace her around the room and he will just laugh. It's so darn cute!

He is now at the stage where it is just to hard to take him out to eat. I have tried bring his mesh thing and putting pickles in it but when he gets tired of it he will throw a fit.

I will say this kid has stolen my heart. He can be such a sweetie when he wants to be. He will run up and give me a hug by leaning against me and putting his head on me. When he is in the mood, he will give me lots of kisses.
Some much love <3

{Preparing For Jaxon's Birthday} Dinosaur Decorations & Birthday Chair

I went and bought cheap plastic dinosaurs to spray paint for decoration for Jaxon's birthday party. They turned out perfect!
I used spray paint that was great for  plastic and made sure to do 2-3 coats on all the dinosaurs ( I let it dry in-between).
With the bigger dinosaurs I wanted it to be the blue ombré so I sprayed it with the middle blue color first. When It dried, I took the darker blue and sprayed the feet. I did the same with the lighter blue on the head and top of their backs.

With that same spray paint, I re-did my brothers old high chair so Jaxon could use it when we give him his cake.

{Cara Box} July Reveal

This is my second month doing this but the first month that I got a box...
and I LOVE it!!
This months theme is Nautical. How fun!
I was paired up with two lovely girls;
Aleshea, who sent me the box and Jennifer, who I sent a box to.
I just love being able to get to know other amazing girls who enjoy blogging just as much as I do.
If you want to be able to join in on this awesome Cara Box Exchange, head over to wifessionals.

My box!!!

This box was meant to be mine! It was perfect!!

Aleshea was so nice to put some fun little toys in the box for Jaxon.

I dont know if Aleshea knows, but I'm OBSESSED with these cups (plastic mason jar)! She also stuck in a couple EOS Lip Balms. I have wanted to try this for so long but kept forgetting to buy some.
She sent some tea because we had been talking about how I have never tried sweet tea. How sweet is she?!?!
I also cant wait to make cupcakes in this adorable nautical cupcake set.
Thank you Aleshea!!

44 & 45 Weeks.

Jaxon has been super grumpy and drooling a ton, which has got me thinking that there might be another tooth coming soon.

My adventurist little boy has hurt himself a lot this week. He fell and hit his lip on his wooden toy- just a little blood.
He will not go down our two steps backwards, he would rather step off and roll. I let him do it in hopes it would scare him. Nope, he keeps doing it, even after I keep turning him around and showing him how to go down backwards. (Don't worry, there carpet so the most that has happened was the rug burn on his face. He thinks its fun to climb on his piano and look over his gate- we had to take it out of the playpen. What scares me, is his dad was the same way, not scared at all, so now I know I'm going to have my handsfull with this one.
He also dropped one of his wooden puzzle pieces on his toe, no blood but he cried. Those thing are heavy :(

Jaxon loves dropping his toys over the gate, well he loves dropping anything anywhere. He will wake up from nap time and everything will be out of his crib.

Jaxon loves being outside! We try to do the park once a week and we also did a fun hike. Oh how I love my Ergobaby!!

Jaxon started saying "Hi"... Of course to him it's just another sound he is making, but it sure is cute.

Jaxon finally learned how to sit down and go down the steps. Now it's a game and that's all he wants to do.

I finally packed away all his 6m clothing. He is officially in all 9m clothing (and he is 10 1/2 months old).

Jaxon started waving but wont do it when we ask him. Somehow a cute girl got him to wave to her at the grocery store. Such a ladies man already.

He also learned how to clap his hands. Another thing he won't do when we ask him so we can show someone.

Jaxon figured out he has a tongue. He reminds me of a whale when he sticks it out and points it up to his lip. I think that has also helps him figure out how to eat solids... Or at least it's a start. He was able to eat yogurt bite without gagging, but did gag on the puffs a couple times (just didn't throw up).

While Jaxon and I were playing the other day, a show came on the TV with some music and he started dancing! It was so cute! I wish I could have recorded it. At least he will dance when we ask him to.

{Preparing For Jaxon's Birthday} Party Favors

I went over to party city where they had every color you could imagine. It was perfect for my blue ombré theme. I got the cute popcorn holders, blue candy and ballon to put inside. I also wrapped my crayon dinosaurs up and put them in there as well.

I had a cute birthday dinosaur stamp laying around so I decided to cut blue circles and stamp it with the dinosaur stamp to add a little more to the party favors.

I also found these cute water bottles at hobby lobby that I painted dinosaurs on for the kids.

{Preparing For Jaxon's Birthday} Dinosaur Crayons

I made dinosaur crayons to put in party favors for the kids. Here's where I found out how to make them. I looked through all my old crayons for all the different color blues since Jaxon's party is a blue ombré/dinosaur party.
Old Crayons
Silicon Mold
Candle Mold Release

1. Start off by taking all the wrappers off the crayons.
I found that using a razor works the best rather then trying to rip all the wrapping off yourself.
2. Once your done, cut the crayons. The smaller you cut them, the faster they melt.
I would even cut them smaller then in my picture.
Try to cut them the same size.
3. Preheat oven to 350-400 degrees.
4. Spray mold with candle mold release each time.
5. Place in the mold.
6. Put the mold on a flat cookie sheet in the over for 5-7 minutes.
Keep an eye on it because it could melt faster then that time, depending on the size of the crayons.
7. Pull them out but be careful not to spill.
Let cool till they are hard.

{Video} Newborn To 5 Months

I made this into one video and it wouldn't fit on YouTube so I had to go back and cut it into two videos.

43 Weeks.

This week has had so many firsts for Jaxon. It's amazing how a bunch of things can happen in just one week.

Jaxon loves giving kisses now. Oh how it just melts my heart. It makes my day when he wants to give Michael kisses and then turn around and give me kisses. Such a sweet little boy.

Jaxon got his first tooth!! This time it's real! Took him almost 10 months when it felt like he should have gotten it 5 months ago.

He went in for his 9 month apointment... At the end of his 9 months.
He weighs 16lbs 12oz and is 26 3/4in long. The doctor said he is healthy and advanced (since he can walk). She would like to see him put on more weight but he eats so well, so I'm thinking he will always be a tiny baby. His dad was the same way. He still has a problem with chunky food. He gags and throws up everytime he eats it. We are stuck with baby food.

Jaxon says mama! Can I just say how wonderful it feels to hear him say that. Even though I know it's just a sound to him, I just love it.

He started waving. It's rare when we can get him to do it but we have said "Jaxon wave" while we waved to him, and he did it back a couple different times.

He loves his hand tickled. When he's drinking his bottle he will rub his hand over my fingures very lightly.

Jaxon saw his first fireworks for 4th of July and he loved it!! He did get a little overwhelmed at the end of the grand finale but it stopped right after and then he was fine. The fireworks were right above us. It was so beautiful!
Mr. Jaxon got his first boo boo... And first of many. He likes to play with us in bed in the morning and he will crawl and try to play with the blinds. He missed trying to grab them and smacked his head on the window sill. It scared me so bad because I was afraid he hit his eye.
This kid is already such a daredevil that I'm sure I'll have a heart attack as he gets older.

Mama got a new car!!! I offially have the hamster car. But boy do I love it!
