Being A New Mom.

I have been working on this post for awhile but I might as well just post it because with the way things change, I'll never finish it.

Being a new mom means some days I'm in pjs from dusk till dawn.

Have you heard of 2 day old make up? Well you will once you've had a baby.

Dry shampoo... because daily showers dont exist.

You thought period pads were annoying? Try breast pads.
Their your best friend and worst enomy all in the same day.

Food... Wait, I'm suppose to eat?

Exercise? I thought feeding, changing diapers, washing baby clothes, picking up... putting down and then picking up the baby again was my exercise.

Going to the bathroom by yourself is a luxury.

Every time I change a diaper, I have to prepare myself for a hose to go off. Oh little boys.

Everything I said I wouldn't do... I have done. Like my baby sleeping in our bed.

Things that have bugged me in the past dont faze me when it comes to my baby. For instance... drool, being impatient, being peed on, being pooped on and dealing with a screaming child.

All my money goes to my kid, and that might never stop... ask my dad.

All those annoying kid song get stuck in my head... Twinkle twinkle SHUT THE HECK UP.

Baby spit up is my new perfume.

My new pet peeve is when people tell me I dont know what MY OWN kid wants. Umm shut it, their is a reason I call him MY kid, not yours.

With all this said, I wouldn't change it for the world. My little Jaxon is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. I can now say I know what a "mothers love" means. It means that everything can go wrong and your whole life will change but when you see your child smile up at you, none of that other stuff matters.  Best feeling ever!

    1. I wish I could put him in his crib, but he likes to feel snuggled up so I bought the newborn sleeper that fisher price makes. Its just like his swing that he loves. I wrote about it in my 17 week update.
