We went in for Jaxon's 2 month check up today.
He was measured at 20.25 inches. Not even on the percentile chart. Tiny Boy.
Weight was 9lbs 8oz. Still in the 10 percentile.
He was a happy boy before his shots. Just cooing and smiling at us.
He was given his first immunization orally and did great.
Next was the two shots in his legs. I had Mike hold him down because I just couldnt do it. The nurse gave him the shots very quickly and then he turned bright red and balled his eyes out. My heart just broke hearing him cry. I was told to nurse him after which made things better.
He whimpered a little after nursing and then fell asleep on the car ride home. Poor baby.
He seemed find after so we went to the mall. 3 hours in he started crying and it was very hard to calm him down. We left the mall because he was screaming and turning bright red. This just breaks my heart. My mom was rubbing his blanket against his face and letting him grab onto her finger. She was able to calm him down till we got home. Once we got home we gave him baby tylenol and took him in the shower. I think the shower helped because he passed out afterwards and is still currently asleep (4 hours later). I really wish we didn't have to do this to our babies, but I know it helps them from getting something far worse.
