It just doesnt seem real to me that in 2 days my little Jaxon will be a month old!
In the past, when a month went by, it really felt like a month. But with a baby, it feels like
its only been a couple of weeks. So much has happened in this last week. My sister flew here to surprise me. Im so happy she was able to meet Jaxon while he was still little.
Jaxon has started to smile at us. One morning when he woke up, he was just smiling at everything. He is becoming more and more aware of things. His eyes will now follow you around the room.
Mike and I gave him his first shower. I think he likes it a lot better then the tub. He did pee on me when he first got in, but ill take that over poo any day. Once he got relaxed, he started to fall asleep on Mike's shoulder. He just didnt like getting out of the shower to dry off.
We have also had to start giving Jaxon gas drops. He swallows to much air when he eats which has been giving him such a bad tummy ache.
At a month old, my baby still fits into newborn clothes and diapers. He is such a small little guy. When we took him for his 4 weeks check up, he weighed 8 lb 4 oz (10th percentile) and he is 19 3/4 in long (2nd percentile). He is still one healthy baby!
We took Jaxon to his first pumpkin patch. He got to see lots of animals and experience the Colorado cold weather. We also got him his first pumpkin.
Grandpa & Grandma Alford
My mom, sister and I decided to buy matching footie pjs to take pictures in.
I never realized how comfy they are.
Oh sad face.
Silly boy!
It is hard to believe that he is already a month old, where has time gone? Eeek :(
