I went and bought cheap plastic dinosaurs to spray paint for decoration for Jaxon's birthday party. They turned out perfect!
I used spray paint that was great for plastic and made sure to do 2-3 coats on all the dinosaurs ( I let it dry in-between).
With the bigger dinosaurs I wanted it to be the blue ombré so I sprayed it with the middle blue color first. When It dried, I took the darker blue and sprayed the feet. I did the same with the lighter blue on the head and top of their backs.

With that same spray paint, I re-did my brothers old high chair so Jaxon could use it when we give him his cake.
How did the plastic handle the spray paint? We recently got a fun little play center that is hard plastic - I would LOVE to spray-paint over it but I don't know how it would last and hold up... it has stairs and a little slide. What do you think?!
ReplyDeleteHis seems to be holding up fine but I have heard from other people that it does seem to wear over time. I would say its worth trying and just touch up where it wears off.
