Best moment this week: Having Daddy home for a 3 day weekend.
Movement: Yes! She is a crazy little wiggle worm.
Showing? Yep, but it doesn't look like I'm growing much even though I feel huge.
Food cravings: sweets and artichokes.
Things that make me sick: not eating right away in the morning.

Looking forward to: My baby shower.
Oils that are helping: DiGize (very little) at night after I eat some not so great food.

Jaxon:

He loves to look at me and say "I love you mommy", and then usually squeezes my neck really hard.

Jaxon had his first little tea party with our neighbors daughter. He was so excited to use a little spoon and get the water out of the tiny cup.

Oils that are helping: Peppermint, lavender and lemon since the weather keeps changing and it's driving me crazy. I've also been using Thieves cleaner since I don't want to clean with crazy chemicals.

Jaxon:
Jax will ask my questions like, " what's this color" and I will say it and he will say, "Good job mommy".

Jaxon loves putting his head on my belly and feeling his sister move.

Week 21

How far along? 21 weeks
Baby is the size of: pomegranate
Total weight gain: +2.5 (total 6lbs)
Maternity clothes? Not really. I bought clothes from the cutest online maternity boutique (Pink Blush Maternity) and everything I got works great for pregnancy and can even be worn after without anyone knowing!

Stretch marks? Nope
Sleep: Good when Jax doesn't wake up in the middle of the night.
Best moment this week: Doing the Color Me Rad 5k and finishing it while still feeling great! I was a little worried since I haven't been able to practice for it due to always being sick.
Movement: oh yeah, she likes to dance in there when I'm laying on my back.
Showing? Yep!
Food cravings: chocolate chip cookies straight out of the oven.
Things that make me sick: nothing too bad anymore. I still don't really like eating and some textures make me want to gag. Stinky smells will always be an issue.
Gender: GIRL
Labor signs: nope
Symptoms: still get the headaches every now and then. I get very cranky when I am tired and I don't get a break to myself.
Belly Button in or out? In, but it's getting shallow. I had to take my belly button ring out because it was starting to look weird.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Feelings: Sometimes I get random burst of energy and I can clean and other times I'm so tired and moody and just want to be left alone.
Looking forward to: the baby shower!!! It's on my birthday so I know it's going to be fun!! I made it Co-Ed so I can celebrate it with everyone.
Oils that are helping: peppermint, lavender and lemon!!

Jaxon:

Jaxon is such a strawberry lover. As I was cleaning them, he would run into the room and I'd see his little hand reach up and grab one and then he would run off.

I can't wait for Jax to meet his baby sister. He already loves her so much!

We did our first family 5k!! It was the Color Me Rad 5k in Miramar. We all had so much fun and it's definitely something I want to keep doing.
Both Mike and I pushed Jax in the stroller through all the color stations and towards the end Jax wanted to run so we let him out. Both he and Mike ran the last mile and Jax could have kept going!!

I'm bummer this week because I had to make the smart financial decision to switch from my midwife to an OBGYN. I know I won't be able to have the birth I wanted but in the long run I know it will help us out money wise.

JAX:
I have noticed that Jax is starting to getting freckles on his body. He has two tiny ones next to his right nipple and he has another small one on the right side of his nose.

Now Jax has started saying "no I can't" instead of telling me "no" when I ask him to do something.
He has been very difficult and does not want to listen to anyone.

My mom bought Jax a couple of costumes and he has been wanting to wear them every day ( Captain America and Ninga Turtle). He put on the captain America costume and wore it all the way down to pick up my dad from the airport and out to dinner.

Mike was gone on a work trip so Jax and I stayed down at my parents house for the weekend. It was so good spending time with them but Jax really did make it very hard for me. He is now at that point where he does not want to listen at all. It's been extremely stressful.
One of the days at my mom's house, I wanted Jax to take a nap so I went and laid down with him. For the most part he was quiet and watched his movie but he wouldn't go to sleep. What made it cute is every now and then he would come give me a hug and say, " I love you mommy."

Jax saw a little expresso mug in the cupboard and wanted to use it. He kept calling it "Jaxon's coffee" even though it was just water.

My mom taught Jaxon how to make his own chicken sandwich and then he even made one for me. He was so proud of himself.
